I completed my Diploma in mechanical engineering last year. How can I prepare for OJEE to get lateral entry in B.Tech?
Can you suggest some books for its preparation?

If you have completed your Diploma then you are eligible to get 2nd year lateral entry admission in B.Tech in any college after giving the entrance exam. You can study NCERT books and the basics of the syllabus you have studied in your Diploma for its preparation.

The OJEE exam is primarily for Lateral Entry (joining directly in the 2nd year). However, a "Special OJEE" is sometimes conducted to fill vacant seats in private colleges after the main counseling is over.
OJEE answer key 2026 was released on May 16, 2026. The objection filing window was open along with the release.

Candidates will know their allotted OJEE exam centre only from OJEE admit card. There is no way to know the test centre before the release of the OJEE admit card.

- Students who hold a graduation degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for OJEE.
- Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for OJEE.
