Hi Ritu,
I feel its too early to start preparing for PGDFM from now onwards as you haven't even joined the college but if you are enthusiastic and want to prepare for the course from now then start from learning the basics of microeconomics, statistics, and behaviour in organizations. Going through the Youtube videos on these subjects will serve the purpose for now. In fact, most of us in here (even in other MBA Colleges) brush up our learning from youtube videos. You can find the course curriculum from the Institute website or brochure.

Hi Ritu,
Congratulations on making it to the Indian Institute of Forest Management. At the onset, I would like to tell you that enter the campus with your set goals but keep yourself flexible and adaptive to take every small learning that the wonderful campus is going to provide you with.
The course structure is designed very nicely to start working on your basics, but it is great to know that you want to utilize these two months. You can go through Ken Black's Applied Business Statistics. You can also try you tube videos on management accounting, topics as easy as Debit, Credit, Cash flow etc. (If you're not from Commerce background)....more -
The course in itself is pretty easy to get by and its more about the interaction and honing your interpersonal skils, so if I were you I won't stress on reading any books. The course is designed in a way that even people without any prior knowledge of forestry or commerce background can get through easily and with little hard work even top the course.
Hope this helps and welcome to IIFM.
