I did 12th this year (PCM) but had only 62%.I wanted to know about the scope of IIM-I IPM programme,or I should pursue B.Tech. Pls Help

I did my 12th nd taking a drop . I am confused I should prepare for B.Tech or IIM-Indore IPM . Though IPM can be done side by side. also I wanted to tell I dont have much interest in Engg. I am gng to give improvement exam next year for my boards. SO pls describe the IPM course
