I didn't study zoology at graduation level but I had chemistry and botany in 1st and 2nd year of my graduation.

    You are eligible, but for government schools, clearing TET/TGT exams is mandatory. Two types of the exam is conducted by TET:-
    Primary stage (For becoming teachers from class I to V). Elementary stage (For becoming teachers from class VI to VIII). If you have completed 12th or its equivalent exam from a recognised board with above 50% marks then you are eligible for the Primary stage TET exam. If you have completed a graduate degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for Elementary stage TET exam. There is no age criteria for TET exam.

    You have completed B.Sc. Degree in Biochemistry and M.Sc. Degree in chemistry so you are not eligible for assistant teacher in Physics subject but you can apply for assistant teacher in chemistry through TET exam. TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test. Two types of exam is conducted by TET:-
