I did B.Tech and now preparing for government jobs. Is it better to prepare for administrative jobs or for technical government jobs?

    It will be better to prepare for government jobs related to your own branch. If you become able to score good in GATE exam then you will become eligible for jobs in many PSUs. If you have spent four years for B.Tech and then you are preparing for some clerical or banking jobs, then I think it is worthless.

    If you have better knowledge in core, then it is preferable to try for technical government.
