i did diploma in animation from gov. institute after 10th. now i want to go in computer engineering so will i get direct admission in collge

or else do i need to do diploma of comp engineering. i heard that if we have done diploma from gov. institute then we r equivalent to 10+2. is it true? and inform me if there r some other fields in which i can get direct admission for bachelors.. and after completing 1 or 2 semesters can i go to US?

Anushree if your diploma is a recognized polytechnic diploma than you are eligible to direct admission in bachelors degree or third semester in B.Tech or B.E
