    Hello,
Yes, you are eligible for the UGC NET. As per the exam guidelines, candidates can apply for NET exam with subjects in which they have cleared their post-graduation or related to that subject. So, you can appear under Electronic Sciences but make sure that you fulfill other eligibility criteria. NTA has announced the important dates for December session of UGC NET Exam. According to that NET exam will be conducted from 2nd to 6th December 2019. The UGC NET 2019 application form process will be started from 9th September 2019.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Master’s degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc.) from a UGC recognized college/ university and fulfill UGC NET eligibility criteria. It may be noted that minimum percentage required to meet UGC NET eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD categories is 50% marks.
