I did M.Tech (Mechanical) and want to teach mgmt. Will I be allowed to apply UGC NET in Management subject and to get asstprof post in mgmt?

M.Tech (thru GATE) in Manufacturing. Have 14 yrs of IT corporate exp. Am considering to join teaching profession. Do I have to apply for UGC. NET. Am I eligible to choose Management subject? I am doing MBA but in final year now. Will there be advantage if I apply based on MBA?

Hi Kris, As you have done your masters in IT you can easily apply for NET Exam and you can also choose management as your subject after clearing the exam as you are doing your MBA but the exam have a age limit. You need to be 28 years as on 1st June 2014 and same goes for the December attempt. If
