I did my B.Com in 2012 and had secured 53%. Can I appear for NET now?

The eligibility for this exam is as follows –
The candidate should have a Master's degree with minimum 55% marks (without rounding off) from a UGC recognised university in any of the 100 subjects mentioned on the official website of CBSE UGC NET.
