I did my B.E in EEEandnow working in BGR energy systems.Also i am doing a part time Masters in Energy engg.I want to do a phd abroad.suggest

My M.E project is in solar energy. So, I want to do a phd in solar tech in U.S, europe or canada.I am going to take GRE in december. And i am planing for August intake. i am highly dependent on scholarship, so also pls let me know abt it. and what is the duration of completing a phd.

    Hi,In order to pursue Phd from universities in US, you need to first of all make a list of the universities that you aspire for, then send emails to respective course department, asking them to provide you the eligibility criteria and selection procedure for PHD students.It may take three to six years to complete your PHD, depending on the field you select and your mentor.The general eligibility criteria for PHD students are as follows :(though it may vary from university to university)In majority of the institutes, Master's Degree is an essential pre-requisite for a Ph.D. while others admit graduates too.
