7 years agoYes, you can. And, it is better for your engineering branch in which you have taken Diploma.
And, when you take admission for engineering, you can directly get admitted in 2nd year, as you have a Diploma.
So, it is better to opt mechanical engineering. -
Direct admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech after Diploma in mechanical engineering is a very good option. Choose a good college that provides best setup for practical and project exposure, experienced faculty, learning environment and placements.I believe, Indo Global will be the right one in that direction since it is well established and meets all criteria that is required in good engineering colleges.

7 years agoYes, you can do B.Tech or BE. Apply in the CAP Process for direct 2nd year B.Tech admission process. It doesn't matter if you have done your Diploma in 2012. -
Right option will be doing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering after Diploma. Indo Global provides all engineering courses including B.Tech Mechanical.

Sure, you are a working professional then good, almost 6 years of work experience is an added value at the time of placement.
If you don't have work experience then you can face problems at the time of placement because some companies need no gap in between education i.e. continuity is a major factor.
Overall, you can take a test and opt for lateral entry. -
