I didn't appear in WBJEE. Can I get admission in UEM or IEM Kolkata?

Yes, candidates are not required to appear for WBJEE exam to get admission to BTech. UEM does not consider WBJEE score for providing admission to the BTech course. However, candidates are shortlisted for BTech course based on IEMJEE score followed by a counselling round. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 70% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12 are eligible to apply for BTech specialisations.

You can take admission in UEM on the basis of entrance exam conducted by UEM (i.e iemjee), which is conduct every year. Minimum requirement is 60% in 10+2 aggregate + wbjee/jeemain/iemjee entrance exam.
