    Yes, as a rule of thumb you can use the address of your maternal uncle as your permanent address in the SSC CGL application form provided that the lease of your maternal uncle is the only permanent address you have since you actually stay there. The major requirements the SSC would ask are; an address to which the correspondence is sent and to the jurisdiction of the regional office. You must be sure that you can be told all official communications at this address, and most importantly you may be required to prove the residence (such as a utility bill in the name of your uncle at this address and a letter or affidavit to the effect tha
