I don't have 75% in board exams. Can I appear for JEE Mains 2017? Can you suggest some colleges that I can get without it?

You can appear in JEE Mains 2017 if your percentage lie in the top 20 percentile of your state board and apart from JEE you can appear in SRMJEE, VITEEE and other state boards for good colleges apart from IIT's, NIT's and IIIT's.

Getting less than 75 percent should tell you as to where you stand as compared to others. Merely appearing for different exams is not going to change this. Did you not study enough earlier? Private colleges with huge fee will surely offer you admission. The solution lies in changing the perspective

Yes, you can appear for JEE mains exam. You can start preparing from now. You still have 5-6 months for preparation. If all goes well, you can also crack JEE advance exam. Go for it and experience how all India exam are conducted and where we stand in this competitive world.

You can give JEE mains, but you will not qualify for JEE advance. For more information, you can download JEE advance 2017 information brochure, which was already released by IIT – Madras.

Yes, JEE Mains has been listed as an accepted entrance exam for MIT Academy of Engineering BTech admission. The institute has also listed MHT-CET as its accepted entrance exam. Thus, candidates with a JEE Mains score can apply directly without appearing for MHT-CET.
