I don't have a 50% in my graduation and hence, I am not allowed to sit for CAT. Seems like my career is all over. Do I still have a chance?

Due to health issues I couldn't perform well in my grads. I only managed to get 49.4% in my economic hons. I have a work exp of 3 years in a good organization. But I want to pursue MBA. I really need help with this because in India almost all the good colleges have an eligibility criteria of 50%.

    Hi,
Scoring less than 50% in graduation does not imply an end of career. Try being positive and keep an optimistic approach.
You want to do MBA, that is great. I agree that maximum colleges ask for 50% but then there are other parameters too that are considered in the selection process such as soft skills, confidence, extra curricular and the most important that you already have in your kitty- work experience.
Would like to suggest you with two things:-
    1. You may sit for an improvement test (graduation) and aim for 50% and more.
    2. You may go for E-MBA as it asks for graduation (few ask for 50% limit while others have no defined criteria)

    Hi Aditi
You can go for Marketing Communication(MarComm) courses. In MarComm you will be taught all the aspects of marketing so that you can decide your field of interest (advertising, PR, Media Planning, etc).also u should go to places where practical exposure is given more importance than theoretical knowledge.
PG or MBA really does not matter. you should only see how good placements the college provides and well as the brand name of the college in the corporate world.
colleges like The Delhi School of Communication, SIMC, IIMC, XIC provide good practical knowledge.
And your percentage won't matter here.
