I don't have my domicile and because of that I am not eligible for cap round in engineering admission. So what should I do to get admission?
I had completed my 10 and Diploma in Maharashtra but I can't take admission in degree because I don't have domicile.

Domicile Certificate of candidate/father/mother of candidate indicating that he/she is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra is needed if falling under the Type B Candidates category. While no domicile Certificate is needed if falling under the Type A candidates category. The Domicile/Birth/School Leaving Certificate of candidate Indicating place of Birth in the State of Maharashtra are enough for CAP rounds registration in Type A category. So if you are falling under the Type-B category than Domicile Certificate of Parents/ Candidate is needed and you have to obtain this. 4 years agoHello Bishal Naskar, you have completed your tenth as well as your Diploma in engineering from the state of Maharashtra. I think that this makes you eligible for seeking admission under lateral mode directly into the second year of four year degree course of engineering. The directorate of technical education has just announced opening office portal for registration of this admission process. I think you should initiate your registration and SEE what the site is trying to tell you.
