As per your query, do not worry you can complete your graduation without pondering. Well the norms for lateral entry vary for different colleges. I would suggest you to visit the respective websites for detailed help.
Else there is an education body called NCC Education that give credit to your every level of education. So your diploma years would not go waste rather would be taken as Diploma and Advanced Diploma respectively so you become eligible for next year as per their rules.
