    You can go for Chandigarh university, CU will give you lot of exposure, syllabus focuses more on practical knowledge. Asian Paints has selected 7 Diploma Engineering students of Mechanical branch from Chandigarh University during a campus placement drive.     If you really want to do B.Tech, then instead of going to part-time college then you should go to Chandigarh University for a regular course. Getting a degree from Chandigarh University in itself is a matter of pride. Moreover, the rate of placement in Chandigarh University is approximately 80%. So, there are more chances of getting a good job if you do the regular course from Chandigarh University instead of going for a party in college.

    Presently there are no B.Tech part time Colleges in Punjab. So prefer to do AMIE or B.Tech lateral courses. The Colleges offering B.Tech lateral admission are given below.
    1. Thapar Institute of Technology, Patiala
    2. LPU Phagwara
    3. IKGPTU Jalandhar
    4. Chandigarh University.
