I dropped a year for JEE Mains but my paper was very bad. During my placements of B.Tech, will IT companies ask for my JEE score?

I scored 63.6% in 12th.

    If you have a valid reason, it's completely fine. You just don't need to give up. It is no shame to fail, just come back stronger next time, when you get the chance. If you do well in your graduation, I don't think it would be an issue. All the best.
