I either want to go for software development or video game programming. What will be a better career option as both need programming skills?

I am a class 12th student and CGPA 10 in X and 85% in XI. I really like making programs and 3d games and high quality software for which I received several awards on national level. So where should I proceed as a better option-Game programming at studios like Ubisoft or as a programmer for software

In my opinion, Software Development is a better option. But for that, you need to first pursue BCA. As software development is a basic skill, you can later on go for video game programming.
