I failed 3 subjects in my CBSE 12th exam. Do I need to repeat the year and appear for all 5 subjects?

    According to the CBSE rules, if you fail in 3 out of 5 subjects in your class 12 exams, you will be considered as having failed in the board exams. In this case,  you will need to appear for all 5 subjects . CBSE conducts compartment exams for students who have failed in one or more subjects in Class 12. You can choose to appear for compartment exams in the subjects you failed to improve your marks and pass those subjects.
