I have scored 63 percent marks in 12th. Will the marks of optional subject affect my college admission?

If you have been declared pass in ISC 12th board exam despite failing in an optional subject like Maths then you do not need to appear for compartment exams. ISC board follows a process of awarding grace marks or moderation in case a student has failed in any one of the subjects but has scored the required passing marks overall. This is called the Compartmental Scheme.
