I failed in chemistry in 6th semester exam. Can I take admission in 6th semester in another college?

I have completed class 10th in 2nd division and class 12th in first division. I have completed my degree till 5th semester (3rd year). My college is not giving me the change to re-appear for my backlog in chemistry (6th semester).

    If you have backlogs in your current course, lateral entry into another university will become difficult. Please check with the admissions department of your institute.
