I failed in my 11th and i want to do polytechnic.Will wasting a year affect when i apply for jobs in interviews ?

I failed in 11 th class in main and supplementary exams.i guess it gives a star mak on my certificate. which is better a star mark on a certificate or wasting one year and doing polytechnic ?

If you are a engineering aspirant you may go through Diploma / Poly technique or 6 Years Integrated BTech. Otherwise it will be better if you Pass Higher Secendery in any discipline. If you can justify the Gap Year in appropriate places ; It doesn't matter at all.
