I filled General in JEE application form. Can I change it to EWS in counselling if I have valid documents?

Yes, you can apply for EWS in April session or counseling but make sure that you have the caste Certificate as a proof. You can appear in JEE Mains as EWS category candidate. And during counselling, you won't be able to get a seat through EWS if you don't change it in April session. In that case your generalized rank will be considered.
