Diploma Students are Eligible to do BE/B.Tech and can get Admission in Directly Second year of Engineering as a lateral Entry. so better do B.Tech rather than doing BCA. as BCA is just a three years graduation Course in Computers Without any Specialization if you choose BCA then again you have to go
