I finished my BHM in bangalore. Now am considering doing my masters from manipal. I wanted to know the career progress after doing masters.

Completing a master's degree program in hotel management or hospitality management can prepare students for supervisory positions at hotels, casinos or resorts. These graduate programs introduce students to advanced topics in hospitality and tourism. Most programs can be completed in two years or less, and many schools offer on-campus and online formats. Completion of a research-based thesis is generally required for graduation. Although most programs lead to the Master of Science in Hospitality Management, some may lead to a Master of Management in Hospitality. Graduates of a hotel management master's degree program may pursue management positions in hotels, at resorts or in restaurants. They can also work in one of the specialty areas of hospitality management, such as casino, catering or food and beverage management. Students who hold a master's degree in hotel or hospitality management may choose to purse a doctoral degree in to prepare for an academic career and research opportunities. Hotel managers may advance after gaining significant experience.
