i gave wbut 1st sem exam last month.if i fail in 4 out of 5 papers will i be allowed to give supplementary exam?

most of the universities allow the student for supplementary but problem is that you should get certain number of credits for promotion into next year

Yes you have to clear all subjects during second sem. otherwise you will be year out.
