    Dear,
I will suggest you to take Manipal because you have good rank in it and you will find good extracurricular activities, placements and academics. I'm not suggesting you to go for VITEEE because you don't have enough rank to get admission in VIT, Vellore campus. You will get only Chennai campus with this rank.

    Hey there,
I'm a student of VIT-Chennai. 27k is a really good score, you can try VIT as they have a really amazing system being followed. Your JEE score is 116 and you can get NITs but I don't think you can get the top NITs in India. So, I would advise you to go for VIT.

I will suggest you to join Manipal University even when VIT is ranked well than Manipal University. Because, in Manipal University you have the option to indulge yourselves in extra research which is not so much in VIT. P.S. Do give JEE Advanced, it would be better if you clear it all at once.

I'll prefer you to opt for the JEE Mains, as your score is good enough to get EEE or ECE branch in good NITs, and if you can't, then you can opt for the KIIT, as in this university you can easily get CSE branch with this rank. Other than that, all the other college are just charging a bulk of money and not offering the worth of it.

No, not at all, dropping your year is not a good option, as you have scored 116 in JEE mains, you will be giving JEE advance as well, if not go for a private college with minimum or can say affordable fee structure, pursue your B Tech, get your degree and avail the opportunities at its best, the world is welcoming talented people and not the one with a fascinating college degree. Thank you!
