I got 169470 rank in JEE Mains. I belong to General Category. Can I get a seat in B.Tech Computer Science branch at any NIT or IIIT?

  • This gives a rank of 169470 in the General category, which is unlikely to give a seat in B.Tech Computer Science in any NIT or IIIT. The closing rank for IIITs usually is below 10,000 for Computer Science programs; some of the institutions are IIIT Gwalior, whose cutoff is at around 11,494. So, other engineering colleges or private institutions can be looked into that would accept higher ranks for admissions.
