I got 20k rank in COMEDK (2023), is it possible to get computer science branch in any of the good colleges?

<p>Yes I believe you can.</p><p>Heartiest congratulations for your fantastic performance in COMEDK. However I'm afraid a regular CSE course will be difficult to get but I suggest you look in for the shift courses of CSE, at the top colleges of Karnataka.</p><p>The shift courses allow the college to split the crowd at popular branches &amp; increase their intake limit (escape intake norms). There is a pretty wrong notion about their timing being an evening college and many students fall prey to it. So do first check up the top colleges providing shift course for your rank and if you get any pls go for it.</p><p>Shift courses have absolutely no difference in timings (well within 9&ndash;5), opportunities, placements, faculty, classes, crowd, etc., it is all the same. only your degree will have mentioned &ldquo;shift course&rdquo; but trust me it makes absolutely no difference in terms of jobs or higher education.</p><p>Also I feel that a shift course will help you get into the top colleges irrespective of a lower rank.</p><p>All the best :)</p>
