I got 28240 rank in SRMJEEE 2016. Can I get admission in mechatronics or automobile engineering?

I'll prefer you to opt for the automobile engineering, as this branch has better scope than mechatronics as well as the pack of automobile branch is far better than this branch in SRM.

As per your rank, your chances of getting mechatronics is very low as it is available in the main campus only. So, you may try for automobile engineering in any of the campuses.
