I got 44 marks in JEE Main exam 2018 and the cut off is 45. Can I get a seat in IIT, Madras with this rank?

No you are not eligible for IIT Madras .With such marks, it is difficult to get any top college. It will be a tough call for you to get admission into a government college based on your JEE Mains marks, but you can still apply for private universities conducting their own entrance exam or offer admission on the basis of class 12th marks. Private universities also provide quality education with these days and best infrastructure to study. You should select a college with the best placements and overall rankings such as SRM, LPU, Jaypee, and other AKTU institutes. Good Luck.

6 years agoNo, because IITs give admission through JEE Advance. You can get admission in any NIT, IIT or state level government or private college.
