With a 44 percentile score in JEE Mains, your chances of securing admission to the top engineering colleges through the central counseling process (JoSAA) may be limited. However, there are several other engineering colleges where you can explore admission options.

Some colleges that accept JEE Mains scores and may consider candidates with lower percentiles for B.Tech programs are:

    1. Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur

    2. Lovely Professional University, Punjab

    3. Galgotias University, Uttar Pradesh

    4. SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai

    5. Chitkara University, Punjab

    6. Poornima College of Engineering,

    Hello,

As you have not mentioned the category in which you applied for the JEE Mains. As the cutoff largely depends on that. At 44 percentile in general there is a very less chance you can get good college in general category.

Just qualifing the exam doesn't fetch you seat because the seat cutoff will be different to colleges.you need minimum of 94+percentile for Gen category to fetch seat in some college and to fetch seat in better colleges you need a really good percentile above 97-98 percentile.
