I got 46 marks in JEE Mains and I belong to ST category. Can I apply for LPU?

    Hi, In order to take admission into B.Tech degree in LPU you need to qualify the eligibity criteria. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST
    For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same

    Yes, you can apply for LPU, but 60% is needed in your boards. You can apply for LPU-NEST entrance exam also.
  • Dear Bhaskar,
    With 46 marks in JEE Mains, you can't get admission in B.Tech, you need to have at least 74 marks in JEE. The eligibility of B.Tech is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST or JEE Mains (74 marks). Or
    In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPU-NEST or JEE Mains criteria will be exempted and candidates may apply for admission. For more information, visit LPU camp office in your town:

    Sir, before asking for eligibility you must mention the course you want to pursue. As every course have different eligibility. One more thing LPU now doesn't offer scholarship on the basis of caste, if you are eligible by your marks, then you can easily get admission.

    No, the minimum marks are 74, but you can appear in the LPU-NEST test, The eligibility of B.Tech is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST or JEE Mains (74 marks).
