Admission Process: Overview Course Specific Vels University which is also formally known as Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies is a private university that offers degree programmes at various undergraduate, post graduate and doctorate levels. These degree programmes are majorly offered in the field of engineering, technology and sciences. Minimum Eligibility Criteria for all courses The general eligibility criteria for admissions to the undergraduate engineering programmes offered at Vels University states that the candidates need to complete their 10+2 with a minimum of 45-50 % marks in the qualifying examination from a recognised board. For the candidates seeking admission to the post graduate degree programmes will have to complete their graduation with a minimum of 50-60% marks from the recognised university.
