Dear Allen, If you get NIT with these marks good for you otherwise LPU is a wonderful option (*You might have to write LPUNEST). These are some of the reasons for it
    1. It is world class infrastructure with modern facilities for students.
    2. It has good placement records and offer proper placement inputs for students.
    3. It has industry-specific curriculum.
    4. It offers scholarships to meritorious students.
    5. It offers extra-curricular activities for the overall development of students' personality. Certainly these points call for checking the website of the university. In recent NIRF rankings, LPU has been raked better than most of NI

I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching. Here are few highlights which I would be sharing for helping you to develop your mind set. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on liv

I would suggest you to private colleges, as these marks won't lend you admissions in any of the NITs for general and with your marks, probably instrumental or mining engineering with NIT Manipur or Pondicherry, which is not of much worth. Often, Rank above 50k is for the students to just assure their seats in IIT-JEE advance not for the admission Purposes. Though, the autonomous institutes of your states along with home-state quota may lend you admission with college level counselling. Recommendations for good private universities are:
LPU, AMITY UNIVERSITY, CHITKARA, CU, MANIPAL UNIVERSITY ( best among ), VIT, SRM, or you can take a dr

No, your class 12th score is less than 75%. You can't get into NIT because you are not eligible for the same.

Getting NIT is almost impossible. You can drop a year or take admission in some good private college.

Can I know about your category?
It is difficult to get admission in NITS. You should participate in counselling and get admission in a good private college.
You can drop one year and study for JEE Mains. You need to score above 150 marks in JEE Mains to get admission in NITs.

    Dear Allen,
Your tentative JEE rank is 241834. Check the link below to know the colleges you can get with this rank:

In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech in different branches. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of
