I got 59.80%. Can I get admission in LPU for B.Com (Hons). ?

The eligibility of B.Com (Hons) is 60% in 10+2 with English or equivalent. So it seems unlikely that you can be offered B.Com (Hons) however LPU has some relaxations for few categories such as: 1. 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants 2. 10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University If you fall in any of these categories, you may get admission, but if not, it will be better to g in for B.Com the eligibility for which is 50% only. Hello! I must say LPU is pretty strict about their eligibility norms, eligibility for admission in B.Com (Hons) is 60% in Class 12th with English. As per your scores you are not eligible for B.Com (Hons). LPU also offers certain relaxations as well, you can check the relaxation details from lpu website. But you need not to lose hope, you can also look forward to get admission in B.Com. I would advise you to connect to LPU admission counselors for complete details.

However, 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants is given. If you fall into that category then you are eligible. However, if you are from North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants, then you will get a relaxation of 5% in marks. In LPU students get an in-depth knowledge of banking and management courses. B.Com/B.Com Hons. Is a specialised course that enables aspirants to gain adequate knowledge about the financial management and risks involved. This Hons course is of 3 years with 6 semesters. LPU allows students to analyze the market strategies and organizational behaviour of many banking and financial sectors.
