don't worry about this. as most of the colleges offer Mech ENGG with 50-55%. have u give some entrance exam?
u have other option also, do diploma in Mech ENGG & then after u can apply for lateral entry in B.Tech 2nd year. ur diploma also of 2 years with +2 sci.
