I got 5k rank in ST category and 80% marks in CBSE boards. What colleges can I potentially get if my preferred branch is computer science?

Hello, Hope you are doing well. As you said you have 5K rank in JEE Mains under ST category, so you will be able to get IIIT, NIT and top government college. Go for counselling and get the best college with your marks. You will definitely get computer Science branch with this rank. All the Best.

Start with IIIT, NIT and then government.

Congratulations on your marks and performance. You can try for all NITs and CFTIs including BIT-Mesra and other top colleges.

Your order of preference must be keeping in descending order in terms of ranking. First you should focus on IIITs, they are specialised in IT and computer sciences and specially on Hyderabad as it is the only campus to host Google for the campus placements.
