    Yes, you are eligible to apply for aeronautical branch in MIT Chennai.

    Yes of course, you are eligible for giving jee mains examination.
    But for giving the prestigious iit jee advanced examination you have to score a min of 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile of your board examines.
    For entrance in nits, iiits, or other gftis it is compulsory to get 75% but if you are opting for other state government colleges or private colleges then 45% marks would also work as per the cutoff criteria.
