Don't worry, with 65% in your 12th, you are definitely eligible for CSE at Chandigarh University. The university requires students to have Physics and Mathematics along with any one subject like Computer Science, Chemistry, or IT, with at least 60% marks, and you already fulfill this. The good part is CU also offers a wide range of scholarships that make education affordable. If you've attempted JEE Mains, you can get scholarships based on your percentile. Yes, with 65% in your 12th, you are eligible to apply for CSE at Chandigarh University. The basic requirement is 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one among Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, IT, Informatics Practices, or Biotechnology with at least 60% aggregate. Since you meet this, you shouldn't face any problem during admission. On top of that, CU provides various scholarships that can reduce your fee burden. These include JEE Main-based scholarships, -based scholarships, and even merit-based ones for strong avademic performance. If your JEE percentile is good, you can get a significant fee waiver. So

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

The cutoff changes every year and we are in 2025, so you should know the cutoff for NCHMCT JEE 2025. For NCHMCT JEE 2025, the closing rank for Chandigarh University is around 11195 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Hotel and Hospitality Management course. This number comes from the latest available round-wise data and gives a basic idea of the expected range. If we see older figures, the 2022 cutoff stayed close to 10201 as the opening rank in Round 1 and about 10382 as the closing rank in Round 2.
