CAT format changes every year. But make sure, you have strengthen you concepts of Maths and logical reasoning as these two remain same. And also start reading English Articles ready. You will improve by the time you complete your graduation.

you can start Preparation of CAT any time.. but you need to be graduate or final year Graduatefirst to apper In CAT exam.. So plan accordingly.. best wishes
