NITs (Top Tier): Unlikely for CSE in core NITs (like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, or NIT Warangal) unless you have a home state quota and belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
Newer NITs / Lower Ranked IIITs: Possible for CSE, especially under home state quota or in less competitive states.
