I got 75% in 10th and 80% in 12th exam. Am I eligible to get admission in IIM if I score 99% in CAT. How should I prepare for CAT exam?

Your under graduation marks should above75% to get IIM calls. You just need to get perfect in all of 3 areas of CAT exam. 1-Reading comprehension, verbal ability (you need to kept on reading various from different fields. Read editorials, articles and for VA- you need to practice a lot). Logical reasoning, Data interpretation-(I suggest you to practice daily, you can buy Arun Sharma or Nishit Sinha for DI or you can go through T.I.M.E. study material) Quantitative aptitude-(Arun Shrama book of QA is best or you can take guidance through T.I.M.E. study material) as you complete with your basic preparation. You start giving Mocks for CAT

    Hi,
    How are you?
In today's time, all we want is a high placement from a college so prefer the best college for MBA. No matter from where you pursued your Bachelor's degree, go for CAT preparation.
If you will score around 99-100 percentile, you may get a call from IIM. So, go for it!
    Thank you and keep asking!

Hi Pushpraj, 99%ile in CAT should be good enough to enter into IIMs for the preparation part you will have to practice Numerical and Logical exercises, you can find those dummy questions online for Practice.
  • To be eligible for admission to Iims, you need to meet the minimum academic eligibility criteria, which typically requires candidates to have at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA in their undergraduate degree from a recognised university. Since you haven't mentioned your undergraduate degree percentage, I am assuming that you have not completed your undergraduate degree yet. Assuming that you meet the minimum academic eligibility criteria, if you score 99% in the CAT exam, you will have a good chance of getting a call from one of the Iims for the next stage of the admission process, which typically includes a written ability test,

You are eligible. Try to consult coaching institute's study materials when you prepare for CAT. Go through mock test. I prepared the same way and scored 92% in CAT and got admitted in Doon Business School for MBA in Marketing.

Yes, you will be eligible. Your graduations marks and CAT score will be the considerable factor only.
