I got 77% in class 12th, scored 65% in PCM and 56 marks in Maths. Am I eligible for IIT? Do my Maths marks have any impact on selection?

My boards preparation was good but after physics exam, which was tough, I was sick for 2 two days. I messed up my Maths exam. I am feeling very anxious about my scores. Will it affect me in the future job? My teachers and parents advised me to let it go as I was above 75%.

According to JEE Advanced's eligibility criteria to take admission in IITs, a candidate should have atleast 75% in aggregate of below 5 subjects-

    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • Mathematics
    • English or any language subject
    • Best of either 5th or 6th subject except above 4 subjects.

Yes, you are eligible they just look at your overall percentage in class 12 CBSE that needs to be more than 75 thats all. Counting only maths marks is not what it is. Total percentage is needed the most. If you fulfill that, you are definitely set to go
