6 years agoHello Shriram, Reverse calculation can be done based on your percentile in NTA. 80 percentile means that there are 20% students who have scored better than you. This time about 800000 students had appeared. So this means there will be about 1.6 lacs students who have scored better than you. Okay. Last year about 300000 students cleared from in JEE Mains to appear for JEE Advanced. This year this number is likely to increase because the seats of IIT's have increased this year. Based on this analysis I can say with certainty that you will definitely be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Best wishes to you.
