As far as I know, MIT doesn't accept JEE main scores for admission. You need to enroll for a single window counseling program under Anna University called TNEA in which you will be allotted seats based on board exam marks itself. Hence it is important to have a great board exam score in order to get a seat at MIT. For more details, you may refer the link below :
