I got 80% in 12th board. Is engineering in CS good?

Yes, there is very bright future. In fact there is shortage of good software and computer engineers, there are very few engineers out there who actually knows software designing, coding, working of computers. Once you learn that even at home. You will get placed. If you are willing to do hard work you can become a rock star programmer of product base companies. Good Luck -

yes it is but it solely depends on whether u have interest in it -
It is good even if you have less than 80% or say even somewhere around 60%. And it is not good even if you have more than 90% . So the point is if you have aptitude towards computer and related technologies then definitely you should opt for computer science. But if you think do not have that aptitude or zeal for computer science then try to explore other branches like automobile engineering, civil engineering, Biotechnology, information technology, chemical engineering, robotics, etc. which are as hot branch as computer science.
