I got 80% in class 12th with commerce stream & pursuing B.Com (Hons.) currently. Can I start preparation for CAT along with it?

Yes, you can start the preparation. Just devote more time for CAT preparation. Application form of CAT for this year is closed. You can start preparation of other MBA entrance exams like TISS, XAT, CMAT or aim for next year CAT exam.

Hi, For the preparation of CAT you should join CAT coaching after your 1st year. All the best.

Hi, If you are in the first year of B.Com then this will not be a good choice for you. If you are in the 2nd year then you may start preparing for CAT but only by reading newspapers and by solving maths problems of class 6th to 12th.

I want to prepare for CAT I am B.Com part 2 student. Jamshedpur is my choice for preparing CAT. Is it good to prepare from Jamshedpur?

The new CBSE 2026 exam format is considered beneficial for students. It aims to reduce the stress of students by allowing them to appear in two board exams. It reduces rote memorisation and focuses on competency based questions.
